Mr. Steensma is an accomplished professional with a background in financial analysis, enterprise process management, continuous improvement, and information technology. His experience ranges from personal financial planning, investment advisory services, as well as corporate financial management and control. He brings to Rubicon his strong skills in analyzing comprehensive data, delivering integrated core business intelligence, and identifying key performance indicators and root causes to optimize overall business performance. Brian is an adept project leader and analyst, with expertise applying and teaching computational analytics and applied systems modeling.
Mr. Steensma's other interests include regenerative business systems and global financial permaculture, coupled networks of dynamical systems and properties of synchronization with applications in the physical, economic, biological and social sciences, agent based modeling, artificial neural networks, and evolutionary systems. Mr. Steensma has achieved a graduate degree in Methods for Management of Complex Systems from the European School of Advanced Studies and the University of Pavia in Italy, as well as a degree in Computational Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
